EM + Bio Immunostimulants is a liquid mixture of effective micro-organisms (EM), (also called essential microorganisms) and concentrated seawater extract with a very low sodium content.

 

EM + Bio Immunostimulants consists of micro-organisms from the sea, combined with micro-organisms from the soil of the land. Effective microorganisms (of the land) are mixed cultures of favourable naturally occurring organisms that are used to increase the microbial diversity of the soil ecosystem. They consist mainly of photosensitizing bacteria, lactic acid bacteria, yeasts, actinomycetes and fermenting fungi.

 

The absorbable sea minerals from the added seawater extract together with the effective micro-organisms of the land are physiologically compatible with each other and can coexist. The sea micro-organisms are bound to either phytoplankton or one of the other types of micro-organisms that the sea contains. This creates a unique liquid mixture of organisms that therefore contains all elements and micro elements that are available on earth and in the sea.

 

The mix of microorganisms in EM + Bio Immunostimulants have never been treated chemically or with heat, so you could say that these microorganisms are alive. The lifespan and stability of this mix of EM + Bio Immunostimulants is at least 24 months.

 

 

EM + Bio Immunostimulants: What are the benefits for plants?

The absorbable sea minerals from the added seawater extract are therefore bound to the effective micro-organisms (EM), resulting in a 100% mineral uptake. In addition, there is a positive synergy between the present lactobacillus, fungi and all other micro-organisms with the soil bacteria. This ensures that plants are more stress resistant, that they will grow better and it provides a stronger crop.

 

If you have healthy soil, you have healthy plants. To develop healthy and strong plants healthy soil is indispensable. A healthy soil ensures that plants are not easily susceptible to pests, stress and diseases and ensure that they perform optimally. Approximately 95% of the plants live in nature together with the soil fungi present in the soil, which ensure that their roots get a larger reach. Something similar happens with soil bacteria that are useful. As a result, the absorption capacity can increase by up to 700%. This allows plants to absorb nutrients and water better and easier. In the area around the roots are the beneficial micro-organisms, which ensure that potential pathogens have little chance.

 

Plants can become vulnerable due to a bad start, because soil life is limited in many cultivated land and often of one kind. If there are no useful bacteria in the soil around the plant roots, plants are less strong. Then there is a plant that is less strong which cannot offer so much resistance to pests and diseases.

 

 

EM + Bio Immunostimulants: What are useful soil bacteria?

Soil bacteria are mainly found in the humus-rich top layer that is about 25 centimeters deep. They live on organic materials. In this top layer a large amount of organic and digestible substances is found, for example root cells that have been rejected by the roots and sugars. Water, oxygen and minerals are also present in large quantities.

 

In a healthy soil you will find numerous bacteria of many species, which regulate a lot of important processes. Nutrients are released for the growth of plants by breaking down non-living organic substances. Some of these bacteria provide a clean soil and a better structure of the soil. Rhizobacteria (root bacteria) settle in the immediate vicinity of the root (called rhizosphere) and provide protection of the roots; there is no room for pathogens if there are healthy bacteria. For this reason rhizobacteria ensure a healthy growth of the plant. The condition and growth of roots are stimulated by bacteria that promote growth. For example, these bacteria produce the natural substances such as auxin, cytokinin and gibberellin, which regulate growth.

 

Bacteria that bind the nitrogen ensure that nitrogen is released from the air and make it available to the plant. This is because plants themselves can not absorb nitrogen from the air. Bacteria that release phosphate make sure that more phosphate is available for the plant. Some bacteria produce phosphatase. Phosphatase is an enzyme that ensures that phosphate is released from organic compounds. Yet other bacteria ensure, by separating organic acids, that bound phosphate is dissolved.

 

The so-called beneficial bacteria also ensure that other elements become better available for the plant. Antagonistic bacteria and fungi, such as trichoderma, ensure that root diseases are prevented by the release of antibiotic substances that are toxic to germs. In addition, they occupy an area that would otherwise be occupied by harmful organisms and they eat food that germs require to stay alive. Furthermore, they live as a parasite on fungi, nematodes and harmful bacteria.

 

 

EM + Bio Immunostimulants: How can the balance of the soil be restored?

That healthy soil is important for healthy plants is recognized by an increasing number of growers and farmers. The basis of a rich and diverse soil life is formed by soil bacteria that promote healthy plant growth. Thus a balance that is good is of essential importance. There is less stress and lower pressure of diseases and a better result in terms of growth if a soil is healthy. All operations related to cultivation influence the healthiness of the soil, because life in a soil has a high sensitivity to chemical products, too many minerals and processing of the soil. The balance of a soil can be restored by providing the soil with high amounts of beneficial bacteria before sowing or planting.

 

 

EM + Bio Immunostimulants: when to administer?

By leaf spraying combined with EM + Bio Immunostimulants both the uptake and the natural immunity are increased. Not only by the minerals present, but above all by the massiveness of the positive micro-organisms sprayed on the plants:

  • Spraying during the day is never advisable as leaf burning can occur;
  • Spraying in cloudy weather or dusk is preferred;
  • If you prefer a soil application, we advise to do this around the entire rhizome area (around the roots).

 

EM + Bio Immunostimulants: Dosage

  • Leaf spraying arable farming: give 5 liters per hectare for each leaf spraying. This product can be combined well with regular leaf sprays but not with pesticides or herbicides;
  • Soil application: 10 liters per hectare, administer during sowing or planting. Preference: rhizome area, around the roots;
  • Horticulture: Leaf sprays: 500 ml per 100 liters of water. Irrigation: 2 ml per m2, per week;
  • The lifespan and stability of this mix of EM + Bio Immunostimulants is at least 24 months.
