Fulvic acids

Fulvic acid is one of the most important components in humus. Humus substances are the main organic constituents of the soil. It is caused by biological decomposition of dead organic material.

Fulvic acid is a humus substance with a higher oxygen content than other humic substances. Fulvic acid is often used as a supplement to the soil in agriculture, and less often as an animal or human food supplement.

What is the function of fulvic acid?

Fulvic acid works as a natural chelator. It helps the plant with the absorption of water and minerals which are otherwise difficult to be absorbed, or which are readily determined by other minerals.
